Cute lil' Tooth amigurumitogo.com /2015/06/crochet-tooth-keychain-pattern-free.html Meet the Cute lil' Tooth! This little guy is another one of those "amis by accident". I was working my own Tiny Totoro pattern tonight and dropped one on the floor and it looked like a tooth laying there. So you know what happened next! I could have just added the modifications here but decided to make it into a pattern. This way you don't have to flip back and forth between patterns. And once I got writing I realized there's quite a bit of modification done. You can also use these as keychains So here we go... There is a print friendly button at the bottom of this pattern. Read me ~> How to read the rows: Each row has a sequence as given below. Example: 1sc then 2sc in next st means repeat that sequence 1sc then 2sc in next st followed by 1sc then 2sc in next st over and over to the end of that particular row. The number inside the parentheses ( ~ ) is the number of stitches you should have at the end of that particular row.
Read me ~> Add in a marker at the end of row 2 and move that marker at the end of every row. I just use a short length of yarn and pull it through the last stitch I put in at the end of every row. Work in continuous rounds, do not join. Have any questions or if you come across a mistake in the pattern please leave a message in the comment section below.
Supplies: Red Heart Comfort yarn White 3130 4.0 mm hook blunt end yarn needle for sewing scissors 100% polyester stuffing 4.5mm eyes. You can also glue the eyes in with fabric fusion. Or instead of safety eyes you can use paint or sewing thread. A small amount of thread for the mouth 1/3
Abbreviations: st = stitch sc = single crochet 2tog = crochet 2 stitches together f/o = finish off
Tooth starting at the body working toward the roots: 1) magic circle or adjustable loop with 6st (6) 2) 2sc in each (12) 3) 1sc in next 3st then 2sc in next st (15) 4-5) 1sc in each st for 2 rows 6) 1sc in next 3st then 2tog (12) 7-8) 1sc in each st for 2 rows *you can stuff the body now or wait until the one root is on. You can also add in the eyes now, in between the 4th and 5th row. Just be aware of centering since you will be dividing the body into 2 sections and you want that divide to be right in the center of the eyes. Now we'll make the roots: (see photos below) sl st across into the 6th st from the hook. This has created 2 sections. Continue around in the right section with 1sc in next 6st for 3 rows (skip over the sl st). For the 4th and final row of the root put 1sc in every 2nd st then sl st into any front loop and f/o, pulling tight. Gently carry the yarn tail down through the root and into the body to hide it. Reshape the root by pulling on the tip to get it back into shape. Before starting the 2nd root be sure to stuff the body. I used the back end of a pencil to push the stuffing in.No need to stuff the roots.

2nd root: Insert yarn into the corner then put 1sc in the next 5st. Next pull back the 1st root so it's out of the way and put in 1sc into the corner of the 1st root right in front of where you inserted the yarn to start the 2nd root. You now have 6st in the first row. Now put 1sc in each of those 6st for 2 more rows. Finish off with the 4th and final row just as you did for the first root.
