Wine Menu AGUSTÍN LANÚS WINES IS PLEASED TO PRESENT TWO MAIN LINES: SUNAL AND BAD BROTHERS. The SUNAL wines are produced from small vineyards located at between 2,000 and 2,735 meters above sea level (m.a.s.l.). These extreme altitude terroirs were identified by winemaker Agustin Lanus after a series of extensive explorations by 4x4 truck and even on horseback beginning back in 2006. Today, our SUNAL wines are made from vineyards in Angastaco, Molinos, and Santa Maria. These remote and challenging terroirs produce wines of great complexity and intensity, with stronger tannins and a greater sensation of fullness in the mouth, thanks to the thick skins the grapes must develop to survive at extreme altitudes. Our Bad Brothers wines come from vineyards of between 1,700 and 2,000 m.a.s.l., and express the full range of varietals available from high desert valley floor around the idyllic Andean town of Cafayate, headquarters of Agustin Lanus Wines. Each year Agustin Lanus chooses the best varietals from around Cafayate to make our limited production Facón Selection wines. In our current release we are pleased to present three of these special wines, including a Cabernet Sauvignon, a Tannat, and a Cabernet Franc. Quantities are very limited and will not remain on the menu long. As available, we are happy to offer you the opportunity to taste wines brought directly from the tanks in the bodega, the basis of future productions, as well as a limited number of wines from the Amaicha Community Winery, wines produced by local indigenous people, from small vineyards with communal elaboration made with the guidance of our winemaker Agustín. ¡Salud! David y Agustín, (The Bad Brothers)
