WHAT ARE PPES? The acronym PPE stands for “Personal Protection Equipment”. They are divided by gloves, boots, googles, ear protectors and others, mostly used by workers at their workshop, ensuring their security during the labour. THEIR IMPORTANCE Personal Protection Equipments are very important for an employee who work on dangerous areas, protecting their healthcare and also helping them to do a better work at their workspace.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT PPES: •

Ear protector- Area that expose the worker to harmful noise;

•

Hairnet (for the ones with long hair)- The employee can twist the hair around the machine;

•

Uniform made up of T-shirt, pants and boots- Normal clothes can be too loose and twist around the machine.

CONCLUSION: The use of PPEs is very importante for any laborer whose work is too dangerous or cause some risk to their life or future health. It protects them from any circunstance of danger and also guarantees the worker a better workspace.
