MATERIALS

ABBREVIATIONS

• yarn in green, purple and black colors (I use “YarnArt JEANS”: 55% cotton / 45% acrylic; 50g/1.76oz = 160m/174yds)

• ch - chain stitch

• crochet hook for your yarn (I use size 2.00 mm)

• plastic safety eyes or black beads for eyes (I use 8.00 mm) • toys filler • tapestry needle, pins, stitch markers, scissors and black thread

• sc - single crochet stitch • st – stitch • slst - slip stitch • rnd(s) - round(s) • hdc - half double crochet • dc - double crochet stitch • tr - triple crochet stitch • inc - single crochet increase (sc in same stitch 2 times) • dec - single crochet decrease (sc next 2 stitches together) • bl - 4 double crochet bobble stitch

• [...] x n - repeat instructions in brackets n times • (...) - total number of sts in current rnd • blo - through back loops only • flo - through front loops only

• fo – fasten off • yo – yarn over

NOTES • crochet tightly enough so the filler is not visible through the holes between loops; if you crochet too freely - choose a smaller size hook • tightly and gradually fill all the details of the toy in the process of crocheting • crochet continuously in a spiral, unless otherwise specified; don’t forget to mark first loop with stitch markers or thread with contrasting color • you can choose any kind of yarn with any parameters and hook size according to this yarn; you can also decorate finished toy at your discretion • size of the finished toy can vary depending on the materials used, the density of crocheting and filling, etc. • in the case of using the same materials as me, height of the finished toy is about 6" (15 cm)

• if your toy is intended for a child of age under 3 use only hypoallergenic materials without glue and small plastic parts (with the exception of safety eyes) • crochet only with pleasure and sunny mood!

USEFUL ADVICE How close remaining stitches? Draw the yarn through front loops of all remaining stitches from outside to the inside - and pull the hole. Draw the yarn through the resulting loops 2-3 times and weave in ends.
