RUSSIAN SUMMER CAMPS

1. PARTICIPATION IN INTEGRATION SEMINAR (ABOUT RUSSIAN CULTURE, COMMUNICATIONS, WORKSPACE AND CONDITIONS, EXPECTATIONS, JOB DESCRIPTION AND INTERNSHIP RESULTS). 2. PREPARATION OF EDUCATIONAL AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR DIFFERENT GROUPS OF TEENAGERS IN THE CAMP (7-9, 10-12, 13-15 YEARS OLD), DESIGN AND DEVELOP SESSIONS’ CONTENTS AND ORIENTATION MATERIALS. 3. ORGANIZING INTERACTIVE EVENTS, PRESENTATIONS, DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES TO SHARE THEIR OWN CULTURE, HELPING CHILDREN TO BREAK THE STEREOTYPES AND TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE WORLD. 4. DELIVER TRAININGS ON TOPICS OF YOUTH EMPOWERMENT (GLOBAL TOPICS, SOCIAL ISSUES, LEADERSHIP, MOTIVATION, LANGUAGES, COLLABORATION AND TEAMWORK, ETC.). 5. PLANNING AND PREPARATION OF EXTRA ACTIVITIES FOR THE STUDENTS: GAMES, COMPETITIONS, SPORTS, LEARNING WORKSHOPS. 6. MAKING REPORTS OF THE PROGRESS OF TEENAGERS THEY WORK WITH, OF THE RESULTS ACHIEVED, OF ACTIVITIES ORGANIZED, OF EXPERIENCE GAINED DURING INTERNSHIP.

Invitation Letter is not needed for trainees from Latin America and post-soviet countries (all visa issues better to check with hosting entity)

It takes 1 week to make an Invitation Letter for trainees from East Europe and India

It takes 6 weeks to prepare an Invitation Letter for trainees from Asia, Africa, North America and some countries from West Europe

HOST

CO-DELIVERY

Most of our trainees live in hosting family; they are mostly non-AIESEC’cers, students

We align EP profiles, issues and time-line with Sending entities to design customer experience and make every process on time

Also it is up to hosting entity to rent trainee’s house, hostel or organize a dormitory (every intern will be informed about it at least 1 week before arriving)

Every trainee has no more than 2 different host families during internship and always separate bed (except extra cases)

Hosting Entities in Russia are running special integration activities for interns such as project dev. workshops, goal-setting, EP TL, LEAD

All trainees have an opportunity to attend National Conference with Interns track in July and in February (content includes LEAD, collaboration, soft skills)

Quality system 1. Reception standards:  Accommodation provided (separate bed) in every project  Changing host not more than 2 times  Every intern has a buddy

2. Working hours:  Average working hours per week: 10-15 – preparation, 25-30 – project work according to JD  Meeting with a project's representative at least 1 time per week  Content plan of a project is prepared by a project's team max in 1 month before realization
