Using the same yarn and hook size, your Cécile should be approximately 29cm. You can use any yarn and hook size you prefer but then the size of the doll may differ. If you use a different yarn, make sure to adjust the hook size and safety eye size appropriately.

Dress bodice using Catania glamour in white The first part of the dress is crocheted in rows. Each row begins with 2ch, this does not count as the first hdc. To measure the length of the strips, put the bodice on your doll and measure the length from the bodice to the bottom of the feet. Double this length and that is the length you will need. Insert your hook through a hdc on rnd 7 and pull the tulle through

the loop. Make a large loop with the tulle and then pull the remaining tulle through this loop. Pull tightly.

Headband using Catania glamour in white The head band is made using extended sc. To make this stitch, insert the hook, yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have two loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through the first loop. You will have two loops on your hook again. Yarn over and pull though both loops. The headband is crocheted in rows. Each row ends with 2ch. These count as the first esc of the next row. Row sts 1 73ch (Starting in the 3rd chain from the hook) 36 [esc, ch1, sk 1 st] x35, ch2, turn Continue making esc in the gaps between the stitches in the previous round. 2-4 [esc, ch1, sk 1 st] x35, ch2, turn 36 5 [esc, ch1, sk 1 st] x35 36 At the end of row 5 make 3slst down the side of the headband. Make 30ch for the first tie. Make another tie on the opposite side of the headband. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Decorate the headband between the ears and horn with colourful French knots. To make French knots, bring a needle up through the headband where you want the knot to be. Wrap the thread around the fabric three times and insert the needle back into the headband close to the hole you came out of (almost in the same hole). Slowly pull the needle through the wrapped loops to complete your French knot.

Shoes using Catania glamour in white Rnd 1 2 3 4-6 (3 rnds)

Assembling Cécile the Unicorn Girl Embroider the eyebrow with black embroidery thread. Using catania sand stitch a little nose over 2 stitches, between row 9 and 10.

Sew the arms onto row 27.

Sew the wig onto the head. Position the front of the wig (where the parting is) 10 rows above the left eye. Place the pins on the hair cap where you want the bunches to be and using the long yarn tail, sew them onto the head.

Put on her shoes, dress and headband. Aaaaaaaand your Cécile the Unicorn Girl is finished J J J
