Alien Invasion Giving definitions None. Write on the board: Breakfast Elephant Telephone Internet Money
Procedures [TS] Tell students they will talk about definitions. [PW] Tell students that aliens have come to Earth and they were the first people they met. The aliens are quite curious about some things that happen on Earth. Tell them they should define those things for the aliens. Encourage them to be creative because the aliens do not know anything about us. Monitor and help with vocabulary when needed. [TS] Round off by asking what their favourite type of party is. Praise their participation. VARIATIONS: On different days, the teacher can use the following sets of words: I Salad Bee TV Wi-fi Fear II Milk Lion Computer Glass Fame III Dinner Dog Microwave Oven Key Love
