Edgeing- Hdc evenly around the entire badge. Make sure to do 3 hdc in every corner. Leave a long tail 18-24 inches for sewing to the cape. The letter “S” on the badge I did free hand, You can either leave it blank, or if your making it for someone specific add their initial. I decided to make a video on how to do the chain stitched “S”. It’s not great and it’s my first video tutorial so if you want a good laugh and to learn at the same time you can watch it here on my blog : http://calleighsclips.blogspot.com/p/crochet-videos-and-tutorials.html

Optional buttons: Sew similar colored buttons to the top of the cape to make it attachable to the hat. You can also just use a piece of ribbon or yarn to tie it like a bow or just tuck it under the hat.

If you need help with the pattern or questions at anytime please feel free to contact me ([email protected]) and I’ll get in touch with you with in 24-48 hrs. I hope you love this pattern as much as I loved designing and making it! Enjoy!
